Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – October 2017
Y’all ready to see the goodies in this month’s Goddess Provisions subby box? If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s probably one of my favorite subby boxes EVAH. I especially love that it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice.” Mhm, yasss, please!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
October’s GP Box theme was “Under the Moonlight,” and it’s packed with tools that will “make your spirit shine like the moonlight and help you drift off into the sweetest dreams.”
October’s Goddess Provisions box includes:
Zenned Out Moon Phase Cuff, $32 – This adorable adjustable, hand-stamped bracelet features the moon phases, and it acts as a reminder to “trust in divine timing.” The value of this pretty much equals the entire box, so whoa and yay!
Chocolita Moontime Rose Chocolate, $5 – I always get excited to try new flavors of Chocolita! These raw chocolate bars are insanely delish, and they’re made with herbs for specific purposes. This bar is intended for that time with month, as it features herbs that help assist with balancing hormones and getting a good night’s rest. I’m not currently on my moon cycle, but I ate this anyway because I’m powerless over chocolate. It was daaaannng good! Look at the pretty little rose petals imbedded in the back?
Little Moon Essentials Sleep Comes Easy Bath Salts, $5.50 – I’m a bath gal. I pretty much exclusively take baths, so getting bath treats in the mail always excites me. Imma soak in this tonight before beddies because I’m in the mood to chill, and it has a relaxing and restful blend of bergamot, chamomile, lavender, and lemon. Ahh, I feel zen just typing that, haha.
Soapylane Peace Perfume, $24 – I adore the simple and goddessy packaging of this solid perfume. It’s a generous size, and it smells floral and earthy. It’s made with rose, chamomile, ylang ylang, and lavender essential oils. The scent has a calming effect, and it’s recommended to use this on your pulse points before bed to help relax your mind as you drift off into peaceful sleep.
Calm-A-Mama Sleep Drops, $ 17 – This elixir is a soothing mixture of chamomile with floral essences of motherwart, lavender, and lemon balm. You’re supposed to place 2-4 drops under your tongue or in a cup with tea at the end of the day to unwind. I totally believe in flower power and I’m perpetually in need of unwindage, so I’m all about this ish. Fingers crossed it actually works. 🙂
Starseed Supply Co Lucid Dreamer Patch, $10 – Omg, schtap! This is just too friggin’ CYUTE! Haha, lucid dreaming (having at least one successful bout) is legit on my bucket/to-do list. This is super duper cool. Still need to snag a jean jacket or cloth tote to sport these cool patches on… also on my to-do list.
Rhodonite, $6 – This is a heart chakra stone, known for healing past traumas, especially those related to romantic relationships and sex. I feel like this would be a really thoughtful offering to a friend of loved one going through a breakup, divorce, etc. It’s a beautiful stone, too. Mama earth always trips me out with her beauty.
Overall impression: This month’s Goddess Provisions theme was all kinds of self-care, especially in the sleep and relaxation department. The total value of this box is $100 (whoa!!), and faves include the moon phase cuff, Chocolita Moontime chocolate (ha, sweets are always faves), and adorable lucid dreaming patch. Gah, I love everything, though. SO much good stuff this month!
